The buses in Copenhagen are very punctual and run every 5 to 10 minutes. The buses operate from 6 am to 11 pm. After midnight, the nighttime service begins its route.

Fares

Buses in Copenhagen cost as much as all other forms of transport. A single ticket traveling through the first two areas of Copenhagen (a ticket that allows you to see the city center) costs 24DDk. The Copenhagen airport is in zone 4, so you'd need a slightly more expensive subway ticket to reach this area.

There are 24-hour and 72-hour bus tickets available for purchase in Copenhagen. For a one-time fee, you can travel throughout the city at a lower cost and use public transport as many times as you wish.
